How it All started
People around the world call the Islands of Jamaica "Paradise", from the ethnic culture to the exquisite food and tourist layouts, Jamaica is a vacation spot for all. Over the past decades Jamaica has brought many prolific individuals and talented musicians to the fore front giving Jamaica a voice that's heard all-around the world. Legends like Lee "Scratch P, Jimmy Cliff to Bob Marley and Beenie -Man, all call Jamaica home.
Janice Turner was born in Jamaica and was raised in a strict but loving home. Janice was introduced to business and how business works at a young age and was taught by her father Jack Ruby who was the record producer and Hi-Fi sound system operator in the 1970s and is known for his productions with the Jamaica legend Bob Marley and the Wailers "Uprising" album and is considered one of the roots where reggae music originated. Growing up around major business at such a young age Janice was able to take her family teachings and build an empire that reaches millions around the world and is the mother of Sean, Kanema and Kirk Kingston.
Janice Turner is known for her business ethics, management skills and sense for high fashion and holds a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and is launching her highly anticipated beauty accessory line "Jet" which woman all around the world will be showing off in the near future. Janice also has a passion for food as well as is known by many for her tantalizing Caribbean/Jamaican dishes that bring you right to the front door of paradise, and "Momma Kingston’s Kitchen" was born.
Home Made Jamaican plates that consist of a melt in your mouth Ox Tail and succulent Chicken Curry that can warm souls all year around. As well as healthy choices like breakfast fruits and oats and sautéed vegetables in olive oil with mushrooms cooked with the best produce around the globe. Janice is known to put passion, time and love into every dish making Janice Turners cooking in high demand. Throughout the years Janice has cooked for many of the high profile red carpet events and artists such as Chris Brown, Whiz Khalifa, and Rhianna all having second and thirds of Janice’s sweet home cooking"
Janice thrives on morals and believing in everything you do and taking care of your body with healthy food that the body can enjoy and grow from, so every dish is hand made with the freshest organic vegetables, leanest meats and sweetest fruits, you can believe that every bite you take from "Momma Kingston’s Kitchen" is filled with high proteins, vitamins and amino acids that the body needs to have in order to be healthy, good food, good health.
Since the demand for Janice Turners Jamaican homemade cooking has sky rocketed over the past years. Janice Turner decided to open a "Momma Kingston’s Kitchen" mobile food truck so that she could bring the taste of Jamaica to everyone who demanded what paradise fills like inside. "Momma Kingston’s Kitchen" wheels will be turning soon followed by the official "Momma Kingston’s Kitchen" restaurant in 2014-2015.
