It is a great joy for us to greet you and bless you in the name of the Lord. The bible says in John 17:21:

 

“that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

 

Two and a half years ago, when I first met Bishop Eddie Long in a conference held by Bishop T.D. Jakes in  Orlando, Florida, I ministered a word that was of great blessing to everyone that was there, which was titled “Help is Coming Every day.” Listening to this word, Bishop Jakes told Eddie Long: “this word is for you, and this man has been sent to minister to your life.” From that moment on, Bishop Eddie Long and I began to form a very open and sincere friendship; a friendship that has been growing every day since. God has used us in one of his and his ministries most critical moments, and for us it has been a great honor that God has used us to give strength to a great man of God, with a great ministry, and such a precious congregation that “New Birth Missionary Baptist Church” is. That has allowed an African American, and a Latin American to join hands in friendship, even with a language and cultural barrier.

 

We have traveled and ministered together to many Latin-American countries and we have truly seen how this union has been strengthened in the spiritual realm. We have spoken about what God is doing and we have a clear impression that God wants to do something with the African American and Latin American people in the United States and in the surrounding nations.

 

We prayed for a time and the idea surged to hold a conference in Atlanta, Georgia, the city where the “New Birth Missionary Baptist Church” is located. We have titled this conference “THE KINGDOM AND THE POWER OF ONE.” We have truly seen the hand of God in all of this. The Lord gave us open doors to do this, and in result, we have scheduled the conference to be held Thursday,  May 15^th till Sunday, May 18^th, in the year 2014. We began to think which men and women of God would be ministering with us and the names that were chosen are Bishop Renny Mclane, Pastor Paula White, Apostle Marcelino Sojo, Prophet Rony Chavez, Apostolic Pastor Raul David Avila, Bishop Eddie Long, and myself, Apostle Raul Avila.

 

The purpose of this conference is to come together and promote a brotherly unity between Latin Americans, and North Americans. We will have experienced translators, translating live during each service, meaning that when the orator speaks in English, there will be a Spanish translator directly on the pulpit with him / her, and vice versa. It will be a unique experience that will permit us to see how God has united our lives, ministries, and churches.

 

We will see that God is doing something great in the nations; we will see how God is opening doors. In our case, in Venezuela, in the last 4 years, God has allowed us to win, consolidate, disciple, and send disciples to reach more than six-hundred thousand homes with the message of the gospel, and give ouT more than a million copies of the book “My Connection with God” , and “Born to Triumph.” This helps us understand that, even in the midst of chaos in the world, God is working in lives, hearts, families, and nations. We have had the experience of seeing many people who are in positions of leadership in our country, such as mayors, judges, businessmen, and other professionals come to the feet of Christ, and they are giving testimony of them being genuine conversions occurring in their lives in this time.

 

In the midst of God’s glory, we held our end of the year conference for the Federation CCN, titled “The Power to Disciple Nations,” in the city of Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela. During the conference, Prophet Rony Chavez of Cost Rica, who was ministering came to me and Bishop Eddie Long and united our hands. He saw how God had given us (2) two keys in our hands, one to each, and spoke on how they were going to be used to open doors for the African American and Latin American people who live in the United States of America. In result, this would bring an awakening of glory, honor, victory, growth, and unity.

 

We strongly believe that this was a confirmation that the conference “The Kingdom and the Power of One” will be a divine appointment. This is the reason for this open letter, to invite you, your ministry, and your congregation to accompany us in this great celebration. Remember, the conference will be held Thursday,  May 15^th at night and we will finish Sunday, May 18^th at mid-day. For us, it will be an honor for us to see you in Atlanta, in the beautiful installations of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

 

We know that this encounter will profoundly impact our lives, because we will have an apostolic, prophetic, directional, and revelation-filled word for these challenging, decisive, and accelerated times that we must live in.
